As the individual lids aren't available separately, this is the only way to protect the top of the machine and cover the open wells when there's no bottle present, stopping dust, dirt and other foreign objects getting into the precious contents inside! Despite being often broken - the clips generally get broken off by being opened roughly - and an important hygienic part of the machine, these well tops are virtually impossible to find. Most Jagermeister machine listings on eBay have broken well tops and are missing well caps - why not replace your missing ones before sale and get a better price?
