This is center cut wood with no bark at all. This Hickory is from the rich soil of Mississippi Delta. This wood has the Ideal moisture level for optimum smoke. This 11 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Medium Priority Mail Box has 15 sticks and 12 inch pieces in the box and is about 15 lbs. NOTE: This is a custom cut and smoke will be good. ACC bbq's best friend. All this wood is custom cut and split and the ends and the bark have been cut off 1/4 inch so there is no chain saw oil. Bark on the wood is no good to cook with anyway with all the stuff in the air and grows on it. At 2017 Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Contest 8 teams used this wood and came up with a 3rd - 4th - 5th and 13th in whole hog and 11th in shoulder and a 11th in ribs.
