Description: A lovely collectible bronze Uniface medal of the Holy Mary mother of God , by the great Austrian Medalist Arnold Hertig, his signature is directly under the baby’s feet. The Holy Mary is holding the Child while wearing a Crown and the Child is holding an Orb with a cross on. It’s beautifully modelled and is written , in Spanish SANTA MARIA MATER DEI around the perimeter. It’s in good decent vintage condition. Commensurate with age 50-60 years old we estimate. Does have surface scratches as I’ve tried to show in the photos , it was difficult to get a true colour with the pictures .
