Description: This listing is for a 17 1/4" to 18 3/4" handmade macramé necklace made with Black Nano Paracord Cord, a vintage pure silver turquoise pendant, a sterling silver lobster clasp, sterling silver jump rings, and a sterling silver extension chain. This Paracord is an incredibly strong nylon braided cord and will resist fraying, stretching, and fading. It is fairly stiff to the touch and not soft. I can make necklaces with hemp cord, which is softer, but hemp tends to fray over time and is not as strong, which is why I chose to work with Paracord and Linhasita Waxed Polyester Cord instead. In some of my other listings, I have made some necklaces with a larger diameter cord, which is why I am calling this cord "smaller cord." Please feel free to convo me if you would like a custom necklace made for you at any length with either Linhasita Waxed Polyester Cord, Paracord, or Hemp cord. The pendant on this necklace is a beautiful 35mm vintage pendant with Turquoise. It is stamped with "silver" and "1000. The 1000 is either a hallmark or a mark of silver purity, meaning it is 100% pure silver. Pendants made with 100% pure silver bend and dent easily, and so you will want to be gentle with it to maintain its appearance and shape. It is likely made in Mexico.
