Description: Up for purchase is a HANDLE that you can add to your GILLIGAN'S ISLAND PACKARD BELL VINTAGE RADIO AR-851 AM Radio. I did a custom installation on an actual AR-851 for a customer last year and it turned out very nicely. The pictures shown are of that radio. This auction is for the Handle AND a steel Backing Plate that will spread the load and nothing else in the pictures. This handle is nice from the standpoint that it mounts nicely internally within the radio chassis and also goes through two holes that you drill in the upper case. This setup yields a very strong structure unlike the handles that folks stick to the top of the case. This setup is desirable if you want to be able to carry the radio around and not worry about the handle falling off. Of course, you could also just set the handle on top of your radio or use an adhesive if you do not plan to carry it around,
