Description: This auction is for a FANTASTIC Original Photo / Photograph of the debris from the Shipwreck / WRECK OF THE EDMUND PHINNEY with a Great CONEY ISLAND Steeplechase Sign and what appears to be an African American sitting on the debris. The Phinney was wrecked in a storm off the coast of Sandy Hook, New Jersey on December 14, 1907. It measures 8-1/2" by 6-1/2" mounted by 7-1/2" by 4-5/8" without the mount and is in very good condition with a few minor scuffs on the mat. Does anybody know if this sign still exists because it is a fantastic piece of Americana?? I'd love to know!!! Buyers in the United States pay $11.99 shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation by USPS Priority Mail. Thanks for looking!!!
