Sandy Troy does a brilliant job all-throughout this book - from cover to cover - and there is at least ' something ' in here ( if not lots of ' somethings ' ) that even the most knowledgeable Jerry Garcia & Grateful Dead can learn ! For me personally, I think it was the detail about Garcia's ability to access talent, ideas, and staff up band(s) numerous times - so incredibly successful that it was almost uncanny - from an Amazement ! stand-point. But, when you can play like Garcia - think like Garcia - and relate to others like Jerry does ... well, it begins to all make good sense - or, better yet ... Grate ! sense. However, there are large creases on the Cover - significant surface wear on the cover & pages - and there is also yellow highlighting, all throughout the book, on approximately 20+ pages - where Album names, and some page numbers are highlighted. In addition, there are also some page corners that were dog-ear folded, for place-markings. Some soiling also, on the outside page edges of the book. Book is clean, generally - just has been very-well read, used, etc. Perfect for reading & gathering the valuable knowledge herein - though not a copy for someone who is seeking this Book in Good+ condition.
