Gen 1 Ghost Face Mask - Fun World Div, Fantastic Faces

Description: Fantastic Faces Gen 1 Scream Mask aka GhostFace. Glows in the dark! This was designed by Fun World in 1991 and had a “Stamp of Approval” by Alan and Stanley Geller for its first line of “Fantastic Faces” and it is this version that was finally used in “Scream” after a deal was reached by the Weinstein Company and Fun World. Gen 1 indicators: - 11.5 inches from top to bottom as opposed to 12” with gen 2 due to different mold being used. - 6” mark ends at the bottom of the nose as opposed to the top of the nose with gen 2. - 2 dimples on the mouth. 1 in the middle and the other on the bottom right of the mouth as pictured. - Chin stamp “FUN WORLD DIV”. - Cotton Hood/Shroud. “T-Shirt” material. - Hand Cut Eye Sockets. You can see the variations in the eye socket cutouts when you compare the close up pictures. - Slits on the sides of the temple and forehead shown in the close up pics. - Left eye slightly thinner than the right eye. The mask is used but in good overall condition. There is slight yellowing on the right temple above the slit. The seam in the back of the shroud came undone a bit and there’s a hole on top of the head. The mouth has a little knick towards the top where the black paint peeled off. And there is some cracking on the inside of the mask (both cheekbones). Cracking is only visible on the inside of the mask, not the outside. All defects are shown in detail in the last few pictures and can be seen throughout the photoshoot. The bend of the jaw/mouth gives it a unique look, like it’s been partying all weekend with no sleep. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more pictures.
