Description: Up for sale, a Fox Model 335 grenadilla oboe. This instrument dates to 2017 and if I were to guess may have been played for a year or two, then put away. The key-work is in excellent shape, pads and cork look good. The wood body looks excellent, case is clean, etc.... The only negative I can find is some minor wear to the metal ring at the base of the bell, it feels like it has minor nicks on a few spots on the thin ring itself (not the wood). In addition, the ring will move (or rotate) if turned by hand. The grenadilla body is free of cracks, noteworthy scratches, and/or nicks. It looks like it has been handled very respectfully. As with any precision instrument with a lot of moving parts, this may benefit from minor adjustment from a professional. I am no expert and can only give a visual report.
