Description: You are looking at a beautiful Mint condition Fender Squier '50s Classic Vibe Precision Bass neck & tuners! If you prefer the vintage look and feel this is the neck for you. The frets, fingerboard, headstock, tuners and back of the neck are perfect -- this was bought new a short time ago and played only lightly in a studio environment. No dings or scratches. The neck is also straight w/ truss rod in perfect condition. The "tele" headstock is just very cool and retro, and this neck has a gorgeous vintage maple tint with gloss finish all around, including fretboard. Buy it today! PLEASE NOTE: Presumably you know all about this neck, and you want it, and that's why you're here! If so, awesome, this is the neck you've been looking for! But for the unfamiliar, please note this neck will NOT fit on "stock" Precision bass bodies (1960's onward) without some minor modifications. You can either (a) try to get away with little or no routing on your body, but you will have to drill new holes in the back of this neck. Or, (b) you can do some fairly minor routing to the body and pickguard so you can use the original screw holes in the base of the neck. Or, I suppose (c) you could try to shave down the base of the neck so it fits in a standard Precision pocket. I chose (b) and it worked great for me, I just used a dremel tool with a router bit (and a fair bit of patience :) Or just mate it to its intended mate, a 1950's-style Precision bass body, and you should be good to go with no modifications!!
