Fender HM Stratocaster

Description: Please read carefully. 1988-89 Fender HM Strat in original ice blue color. This is a vintage guitar that has had plenty of use. There are scratches throughout guitar and deep scratches with belt rash on the back. There are chips where paint is missing in certain areas. Coil split switch is broken off in humbucker mode. The single coils are Dimarzio virtual vintage (previous owner) discontinued, which have loose connections. Which means a re-solder is required if you want to use them, though I would change them out for something better. Original Dimarzio super 3 works good, the plastic pickup ring is broken in a spot. No serial number on neck (previous owner) original gotoh tuners work good. There is some wear to frets but I've had no problem playing it. After market strap locks come with strap shown. Cracks in paint both side neck pockets and one towards the bottom strap button. Original Kahler Spyder bridge with aftermarket trem arm pictured. Will need special tool to loose tiny bolt in trem recess. I have listed the aforementioned issues of this guitar to the best of my ability, however there may be other issues not listed here which I do not know of. By purchasing buyer understands this and agrees they have carefully inspected photos, asked questions about this guitar and assumes responsibility for any issues that may be found not listed here or for repairs, upgrades or modifications. However, I have personally had no issues playing this HM Strat other than the single coils not properly soldered. I consider this a professional quality instrument that is very comfortable to play. Fast neck with beautiful 17-inch radius rosewood fretboard. No returns and no partial refunds for any reason, so please be sure this is the guitar you want to buy. If any of these aforementioned things bother you, this is not the right guitar for you. But if you have no problem with a roadworn, well used vintage guitar, then this might be the right one for you.
