FDx. Very Rare Vintage TURA or CERISE Pivotal 2-Sided Mirror. German Crown Marks

Description: The "Crown" designs I believe are German touches. There are no maker markings that I can find. I've seen some Internet dating to the 1950's, but that is my guess only. Nice antique for your vintage powder room theme, movie prop, etc. The glass has natural vintage speckling on the silvered sides, visible in the photos. The large mirrors offer full face reflections unlike small modern vanity mirrors. No broken glass, swivels work but you'll want to loosen and tighten to your preference. The main nut on the bottom allows for desired tensioning of the swivel action. A knurled knob on one side and a tension lock washer on the other. I don't know if that was original design or a very effective after thought. The original plating has naturally diminished since the 1950's. I have not attempted any restoration other than Windex'ing the glass. Maybe the metal can be re-plated if you desire restoring it on your own. You might want to attach new felt on the base.
