The card measures 2-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches on heavy card stock and features a sepia toned sketch of a Father of Baseball (ALBERT SPALDING, star pitcher of the National Association and opening year of the National League) with his name noted in a banner below. The reverse side carries an interesting biographical sketch of the man and the copyright date, 1992. This is an interesting card depicting one of the giants of the game from its earliest days.
