Made of solid walnut, the bed features a center crest with a Columbus head? Solid and sturdy,with expected wear, it is ready to enjoy. Having been refinished you can see all the wonderful details in the incised carving and head. Not a huge bed it would fit nicely in a smaller room, but make a big statement. To get a true idea of the color please look at the last photo. Taking photos in the sun is great for showing detail, but tends to make things look lighter than they really are.
