Description: ~ Fanatec CSL DD & GT DD Pro Shaft Clamp - Runout Fix Mod ~ Fanatec DD Clamp Upgrade Carbon Steel ring clamp which replaces the original D clamp which applies uneven force. This clamp can improve shaft runout and further extend the life of your wheel base. Eliminates shaft pulling out of USB type c which is common on the stock clamp. The original Fanatec shaft clamp that is included with the Fanatec CSL DD / GT DD Pro wheelbase is flawed by the fact it does not provide an even clamping force on both sides of the collar. This leads to widely reported misalignment of the shaft and allows the shaft to become loose over time causing steering wobble.Simple To Install Loosen the original Fanatec Clamp Once loose and existing clamp can move freely, the Aluminium shaft simply pulls out. Slide off the original shaft you just loosened Slide on our replacement Clamp and tighten to around 5nm, do not over tighten. Ensure both bolts are tightened equally to spread load (max 4/5nm - no power tools) Re-fit Fanatec shaft by lining up the grooves with the wheelbase and simply push back into place Enjoy racing :) Fanatec DD shown in photos for illustration purposes only
