Description: A limited edition commando knife made back in the mid-to-late 90's by Paul Chen. Some damage, see note. This knife is a hand made copy of the original Fairbairn-Sykes British Commando dagger. It is 12" in overall length with a 7" blued and hand-forged double edge nickel damascus steel blade. Never used, never sharpened, still has the sharp factory edge. The handle is made of stacked leather. The guard and pommel are also made of blued nickel damascus . The guard is hand engraved with scrollwork. The leather scabbard is authentically patterned after the original commando scabbards. A hand-forged damascus buckle is also part of the set. The set is housed in a varnished solid oak presentation case that is lined with red velvet. These were limited to 1000 numbered pieces and this one is tang-stamped with #794. The damascus belt buckle is also #794. These sets have been long-discontinued. Note: the stacked leather washers have been significantly scratched. This is the only flaw in the knife or scabbard - there are no scratches on the knife. The belt buckle has a tiny dot of corrosion in the brass 'F', in the vertical bar near the second horizontal bar. It was treated with silicon years ago and the corrosion has not increased at all. See front picture of just the belt buckle.
