Fabulous Pair Vintage Electric French Hurricane Mantel Lamps w/ Shades & Prisms

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Vintage Lighting. Price is for the matching pair. Incredible pair of French Baccarat Style Crystal and Glass Mantel Candlestick Huricane lamps. Probably dates c. 1950s. Working condition. Both lamps have original flashed ruby glass shade with gold gilding and white enamel flowers. The bases are matching clear candlesticks form shades with the same gold gilding and white enamels. The lamps each have 5 of the 10 crystal prisms. It should be easy for the buyer to find replacement notched spear crystals if they wanted. Selling as found with the prisms listed and pictured( about half gone on each). The cords are original and look in good condition to me. The underside of each lamp base has some minor small chips/ flea bites that are unseen when lamp is sitting on table. Small in the making chip on bottom of flashed shade(chip is ruby flashed)and is unseen when shade is in place. You may notice in the making glass flaws like mold lines, seams, bubbles in glass etc... typical for time period. Some wear to gold gilding ( typical for age and use). Minor enamel wear. As with all our electrical pieces we do test, but highly suggest having an electrician check it out as many times the cords are old. Overall measures about 21 1/2" tall with shade in place.
