Description: This is Elvira: Mistress of the Dark for Atari ST. It is complete in box: included are all five game disks, the instruction manual, the installation cards, the cluebook and its magic window reader, and all original inserts. There is some minor wear on the outer edges of the box and some scuffing on the warranty registration card, but nothing significant. The clue book may look stained, but that's just the pattern chosen by the manufacturer. Most parts inside the box are signed "K.E.S.", and the instruction manual has a signature that I believe says "Karl E. Severson". These may just be from the original owner, but they may also relate to someone associated with the game's development that I'm not aware of. The clue reader is slightly warped. The game is untested. A combination role-playing and adventure game, this title based off of the hit 1988 movie was a surprising success, due in no small part to the care taken in making an actually fun game rather than relying entirely on name recognition. The graphics are rich and detailed, and feature a surprising amount of gore for a game released so early. This fits well into the horror theme of the license, and with its mix of combat, puzzle-solving elements, and strategic item management, there's quite a bit to love here for fans and newcomers alike.
