Description: Elegant! Vintage Evans double powder/rouge compact. 1930s. This piece is a lovely shining silvertone metal, elegantly gleaming w/engine-turned ornate patterns. A garland of floral greenery drapes above its cartouche, & swirls around its borders. One scratch blends in pattern. A silver finger-ring & chain attaches to its disc-shaped body, w/notches giving the smooth edges interest. Sun-ray design on bottom, which has light rubbing in line w/age. Almost no wear inside. Mirror is very good w/only smallest edge shadow. Rouge well almost empty. Metal turning opener on powder well w/puff. Signed ‘Evans’. Beautiful! (See photos for specifics).
