Description: This listing is for a high-quality very detailed wooden replica model of a sailboat that would have been set on the local pond in the 1930s. This lovely vessel is assembled and ready for the showcase place you have in mind. The item has a cream color hull and black keep and underside. The decks reflect the high polish of stained decks on such a yacht. The details are notable and include the wheel, rigging, and a metal anchor hooked to a metal chain. The boom fittings and mast hardware appear to be brass. The sails are cotton cloth with brown topstitching. This model is affixed to a wooden base with brass stands. The wooden base measures 15 3/8” wide by 4 5/16” deep. Overall, the vessel measures 21” wide from boom to boom, by 23” tall from the wooden base to the top of the mast by approximately 4 3/4” wide. The underside is marked, “AM. China.” The AM is "Authentic Models" brand and they describe this model as the "small" version on their website. The hull of the boat measures 15 3/4” from bow to stern.
