Description: Here we have a great stoneware flask that dates to the first quarter of the 19th Century. This flask features a wide, semi-tear drop form body, a crude, slightly tapered lip, and a small circular base. The exterior of this flask has a nice glaze that ranges from light gray to dark brown in areas. This example stands 7 1/8" tall and is in excellent "as fired" condition with only a couple minor flakes along the edge of the base. A great early stoneware flask with great form! If anyone has any questions, please ask.
