Description: Travel back in time with this alto clarinet. I suspect it is combination of two instruments. The bell is Buffet Crampon, made in France. Dumain is engraved on the top of the barrel and side of the lower joint. France is engraved on the top of the lower joint. I do not see any serial numbers so I am not sure exactly when it was made. Cosmetically, there is some ordinary age and play wear, but it looks pretty good. There are some small scuffs and scrapes on the body, but they are not very noticeable. The neck cork is reinforced with Teflon tape. Some of the cork padding is worn (please see photo). Functionally, the tone holes and key mechanisms all work. It comes in a Buffet Crampon/France hard case. Some of the leather1 molding has come off the handle but the handle, latches, and hinges all work. The case comes with cork grease, a Leblanc strap, and metal mouthpiece and ligature. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 18"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
