A vintage sterling silver match case with his engraved initial, P for Preminger. It has a striped design on the cover and is hallmarked on the right lower side, Sterling. Together with a vintage sterling silver hallmarked tie pin or tie tack with tiny chain attached.Preminger directed many important films, including Laura, Exodus, The Man with the Golden Arm, In Harm's Way, The Cardinal, Advise and Consent. He also appeared in the classic WW II film, Stalag 17, starring William Holden. Later on, he appeared in the popular television series, Batman, as Mr. Freeze. Provenance: Obtained directly from Otto Preminger, whom I knew during the early part of my professional career. There is a photograph of me and Preminger filming a documentary at his home in New York. I took the first photo shown of Preminger at his office at 711 Fifth Avenue. Also listed are movie props from Preminger's film, In Harm's Way.
