This is a genuine Antique Print taken from "The Graphic" newspaper of September 1876 and shows an engraving of the wonderful painting by the Birmingham artist John Haynes-Williams. The engraving is titled "The Ancestor on the Tapestry" and was exhibited at the Royal Academy before being purchased by The walker gallery. This item is a double page gatefold print and does have a crease down the middle, there are however no staple holes or central damage as is usual for items such as this. It is in truly amazing condition for an item of this age - stunning.
