Daisy Model 25 BB Gun, Manufactured March 13, 1968, Variant 13, "1958 Variation"

Description: Daisy Model 25 was manufactured from 1914-1978. It was brought back as part of Daisy's Centennial celebration in 1986. Then the model was suspended until it was brought into the product line in 2005. There are many variation of this gun. Stocks and pump grips on these were plastic from 1952 to 1978. This gun was made in Rogers, AR after the company moved here in 1958. Painting of Model 25's (instead of bluing used up to that point) began in the fall of 1953. These guns were painted to imitate bluing. Stenciling of the artwork on the frame (instead of engraving and gold filling with paint) also began with this variant in 1958.The combination of these features is referred to "Variant 13" of Model 25's with plastic stocks. This variant, made from 1958 to 1976 is sometimes referred to as the "1958 variation" since that 's the first year it was made. On March 13, 1968, a batch of frames for the No 25's were stamped with Register Numbers B841909 to B842764. This gun bears the Register No B841934 indicating it was made early in the production of that day.This gun has a strong action. All parts are original. An original box of Daisy BB's is included. This items gross weight is 25oz while the package indicates 22oz net weight. I am assuming a very full box, but it is open. There is a scratch near the end of the barrel, a blemish on the barrel just above the pump grip, some rust on the slide guide. See photos.The above information was provided by the Daisy Museum.
