Description: When America was really great - a time when families could afford a yearly vacation to Florida to watch professional water skiers! This ski belonged to pro skier, “el Bruto” - The Brute”, and made by Larry Sheppard with a “tunnel concave” from the 1960’s. The other ski is an old Apollo ski we found at the bottom of Lake Placid, Florida - who knows how long it was down there l. I removed the hardware & soaked it in bleach. Started to sand it down but have no time to complete it. These are great to use as mail box posts or a man cave/bar for decoration. The hardware was removed on the Cypress Garden ski however I do have the hardware from the other ski I will send along with the skis. Cypress ski measures 65” x 6.5”Old ski measures 67” x 6.25” The cypress ski was splitting (the front fromthe back) but I glued it back. (See last picture).
