Description: Offered is Crime SuspenStories, a wonderful item of crime-suspense EC comic books, reprinted by Mr. Russ Cochran in 1996 in a quality paper, full color format. The square-bound comic book includes the entire page-by-page content of this title's 5 issues (#11-15). This is issue #3 with 20 stories, ads, letter columns, EC back issue/subscription, artist credits, everything from originals. Exterior cover is much heavier paper stock than normal cover stock for 5 inner covers. These #11 through #15 reprint issues from the early 1950's I believe the vast majority of genre and artist collectors would agree these "New Direction" titles by EC Publishing are the best of their type, this being just 1 of the titles. This is a fixed price listing...no offers please. Some stories are probably not appropriate for young or impressionable readers in terms of graphic violence. Exceptional art by a stable of artists in typical 8 page 6-8 panels-per-page issues. Main artists for the complete run of issues were Jack Davis, Johnny Craig, Wallly Wood, Graham Ingels, Harvey Kurzman, Jack Kamen with probable color art by Marie Severin. Typical for this "annual" is quality paper and color resolution somewhat better than that used for the stapled 4 or 8 story issued by East Coast Comics or Gladstone, etc. Issues are more sturdy by far than prior issues of stapled reprints. Cover stock for this book is far heavier/higher quality than regular cover stock of 5 covers inside. I use USPS(post office), pack sturdily, and ship in cardboard boxes via Media/Economy Mail unless other arrangements are made with me. See below for details of ship cost. Domestic Postage Charges: I do combine shipments as possible within a reasonable time frame and lower the postage/pack charges accordingly. Postage charge(to include box/pack material) will normally be actual USPS charges + $1(I p+p). Extra items in same shipment would require slightly more postage. I do not try to make a profit on shipment cost. I regret because of very high postage charges I can not accept orders from other than Canada(and then at higher than USA postal charges).
