Its native range is from Newfoundland and Alaska to the northern and central United States. Familiar names include Pale Corydalis, Tall Corydalis, and Rock Harlequin. It is seen growing in areas that have been burned by fire. It can grow from tubers to around 2 feet tall with sticky or glaucous stems. The blue-green leaves are about an inch long with three and sometimes four lobes. The tubular flowers are under an inch long and pink with yellow tips. They are in bloom from May until September. It prefers to grow in full sun to part shade with average water needs. Zones 6-9GerminationPlace your seeds and some soil in a ziplock bag.
