Description: The Abingdon Pottery Company of Abingdon, Illinois, started production in 1939, and no more than 30 designs were manufactured before the company ended its operations in 1950. This is a collectors piece! It does have hair lines (see pictures), but the thickness of the pottery makes it sturdy, still. Other than those, there are no chips, cracks or repairs. It’s an old vintage fun piece with a cheerful girl’s face.
