Description: This Con-Cor Great Northern J3A 4-6-4 Hudson locomotive is ready-to-go and in excellent running condition. It is painted and comes in its original box. The model is a replica of the Great Northern train operating company and has knuckle style couplers. The locomotive has very little wheel wear. The train is DC powered and analog controlled, and is not DCC ready. It has no sound but is factory painted. The locomotive is made of plastic and is at a 1:160 scale. The model train is a C-7 grading and is a vintage model, made in Japan. Paperwork is not included. This con cor, Kato branded n scale steam engine is in great working condition. The box shows very little wear with small wheel indents on the styrofoam. The stryrofoam has also started to yellow in areas around the engine. The engine works very well with small pauses moving backwards only, and appears to have a fake head coupler. This coupler might be able to clip onto something but I am not sure.The wheels on the engine appear to have lost some paint over the years. The engine includes a tender which is not permanently connected in any way by wires or plastic. The tender seams to have Union Pacific engraved on it once which can be seen at the right angle of light. I don’t know if it came this way from the factory, or if someone painted it before I had it. The engine also has Japan printed on the underside of the motor. This is a beautiful engine, good luck! God bless!!
