Description: This BEAUTIFUL cotton 30's dresden plate quilt is all hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a buttery yellow background and multicolor solid color accents.It measures 74" X 86" and is in very good, never washed condition, with some small spots (see pics) and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. There hand quilting around the plates and in straight line designs in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back and machine stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of NW Pennsylvania. The WONDERFUL COLORS and CLASSIC DESIGN make this vintage CLASSIC stand out!
