Claro walnut semi-inlet wood gunstock machined for the graceful and elegant Ruger model 1 single shot rifle. Classic style sporter rifle gunstock with shadowline cheekpiece, quarter sawn, extremely good colors and figure. This stock set has a number of checks/inclusions (repaired) - please see yellow arrows. 7 7/8" long model "A" type forearm. This gunstock was basic machined from a 34-year-old air dried blank. This Ruger Number 1 single shot rifle semi-inlet wood gunstock was basic machined on a custom built Hoenig-Rodman gunstock duplicator. This gunstock has a small (undersized starter) barrel channel.
