Description: C.G.CONN ELKHART 4H TROMBONE Description This is a vintage trombone C.G.CONN ELKHART 4H/7inch bells/thin tube/.The serial number indicates that it was manufactured around 1929, and there are very few of these instruments in existence. The frequency of use is about the same as when I bought it, as I used it several times in big bands, but never used it as my main instrument. It has a silver satin finish (which has faded considerably), and the engraving on the bell is beautiful. It has been overhauled once, so there are no dents at this point, but the plating has peeled off over time and there are scratches and scuffs as they are. The slide is in good working order, but the skirt of the inner tube has some peeling of the plating (this will not affect its practical use if slide oil is applied). There are some green crystals on the handle side of the prop. The sound is compact, delicate, and moist (for me personally...). The case comes with the original hard case, but it is particularly deteriorated over the years, and although there are some repair marks, it is fragile, so please be careful when handling it. Repairs and other maintenance should be done by yourself.Shipping Fedex or DHLInternational Buyers - Please Note:Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
