Description: Item for sale is a pair of late 1800's portraits of two young Victorian woman wearing the same outfit with pleated dress, lace collar and beaded necklace. The photo on the right is of Laura Jewett White (Mrs. James D. White), taken by C. A. Paul of Skowhegan, ME. Photo on the left is, I assume, her sister, and was taken by Conant Studio in Skowhegan, Maine. Photos are on thick card stock. Note: These photos came from the same photo album which contained photos from many families with names of Shaw, Jewett, Ketcham, Doyen, White, Sparks and Sweetser. I suppose these could be pictures of the same person, but I believe them to be siblings. I was able to connect many of the families via geneology searches of the internet. This is how I discovered Mrs. J. D. White is actually Laura Jewett. Condition: Photo is faded and yellowed with some spotting. Measures: 2.5" x 4" Card will be shipped in a standard envelop.
