Description: Cambridge Glass Heron figural floral frog, 8 holes, the Heron symbolizes tranquility, elegance and grace. Measures 8" high, th 1920'3 1/2" diameter base, weight 1 lb 11 oz, vintage clear glass that glows lime green under blacklight. Wonderful examples of another era, very popular probably beginning in the 1920's and produced through to the 1950's. Often paired with a console bowl for a flower arrangement centerpiece and the figure accent at the center. They were produced with varying figures and number of holes for flowers by the American glass maker, Cambridge. Other glassmakers also involved in these unique floral holders, every collector understands...it's an obsession! Parting with some, hoping to maintain female figures in my collection (or try to) so this Heron will appreciate and lend 'grace' to a new home.
