Description: This listing is for an excellent condition circa 1955 Buescher Aristocrat 156 Tenor Saxophone.It features the "script" type engraving and not the "Big B" engraving. Has some very minor scratches and bumps here and there. Finish is not original, but it appears to be a very well done, possibly factory relacquer job. Has original gold Norton springs, metal resonators, and classic Buescher rollers, Pads are all there and are in excellent shape!Neck is not original and appears to have been pulled down in the past and has been repaired and reinforced.Action is smooth, light, and is free blowing Al in all, a great sounding, American made vintage Buescher Tenor with that big, spread, husky voice that is hard to find in modern foreign made horns! Shipped in an excellent condition Gator Case with additional packaging.
