You are purchasing one NEW Original OEM Browning Mark IV Face Plate Overlays set. You will be purchasing one TX and one RX overlay only. These are original OEM overlays that are peal and stick. These are not thin decals but the original self-adhesive permanent heavy overlays used by Browning on later Mark IV radios. Surface must me clean and clear of dirt and defects to get a good bond. Browning used both overlay and screen print type faceplate on the Golden Eagle Mark IV. The overlay type is like a decal is attached to the faceplate whereas the screen-printed is painted directly to the metal. These will replace both type but is should be noted that on the screen-printed type the leads on all the red LED's will have to be shorten, this is accomplished by bending the lead slightly to shorten the length. On the 6 LEDs on the Transmitter, you can simply move the small printed circuit board to the rear of the mounting clip and this will give you additional adjustment. Be sure the clip does not short out any traces as there where several versions of the PC Board. The reason being that on the screen-printed type faceplate the LEDs protrudes through the opening in the metal and on the overlay types the LED only fills the opening. If you do not shorten the leads the LED's will push the overlay outward and damaged the new faceplate. If you need a complete face plate, please check our web store.
