Description: brass lion door knob. This is not an antique original (I have one), but a stunning lost wax cast reproduction by a casting studio out in the west coast. I acquired it 20 years ago and it was used as a model in my studio. If you want to install it, in many ways it’s better than an original. The band is executed a little better than most originals and whatever they used as brass gets a nicer patina. It is threaded for a 3/8-16 spindle like the originals and the set screws are 1/4-28 and setup a little better than the originals. The diameter is just under 3”. Sold as is with patina and slight dings from a life of service. I’m pricing it competitively, it deserves to be installed. Feel free to ask any questions.
