Description: Vintage Ward's Hawthorne CWC Ballooner Bicycle Tank This is a Vintage Mens CWC ( Cleveland Welding Company) made Ballooner Bike Horn Tank. Tank is off a CWC Post war Hawthorne Ballooner Bike and is a Real Nice Vintage Tank, Not Reproduction. Tank is so nice I had to take a second look and I think it was repainted, and the Crazy thing is that the Artwork was re screened and knowing g the process someone put a ton of work into this, insane work to print one tank. Your be hard pressed to tell it was not original paint, but thats my discovery and passing that info on. Cool old tank fits most CWC Built Straight Bar bikes. This Horn Tank in Good Condition with some wear and scratches, Nice paint, design, and Patina. Horn is in Good shape although it untested since I don't have one of those big honking batteries to test it, pretty sure some tinkering and contact cleaning will get it working. CWC produced bikes that had these badge names: Roadmaster, Hiawatha, Western Flyer, Hawthorne etc., and this part will work on those brands if they were made by Cleveland Welding.
