Very fine heavy gage silver with fine beading around the belly of the pitcher. Bears a Victorian engraving of 1862 and bears the markings of Bigelow Bros. & Kennard, coin silver as shown. In fine used condition and measures 15 inches x 10 inches x 6 inches and weighs 51.4 oz. Makes a great bar pitcher for any occasion.Bigelow, Kennard & Co. of Boston was one of the leading Boston merchants in the 19th and early 20th century, selling high-quality domestic and imported silver, glass, and clocks.
