Description: Up for sale is: An open box but otherwise excellent and like new condition Asmus Toys Lord of the Rings 1/6 scale Legolas action figure featuring a good likeness of Orlando Bloom as he appeared in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This is the original scultped-hair edition of Legolas released by Asmus in The figure along with some accessories were removed from the box and inspected after they were received direct from Asmus Toys in 2017 but were soon re-boxed and stored with care in an air-conditioned room in an adult collector's home until January 2024, when the pics shown in this listing were taken. NOTE: This figure is from Asmus's "Luxury" Edition LOTR010LUX, which added a separately boxed polystone diorama base of a cave troll's head and solid sculpt boots which the figure's legs can be plugged into. Although the Legolas figure and its art box was well cared for and carefully stored indoors with other figures from Asmus's Middle-Earth line, the diorama base box was stored separately and has some damage. Most of the right boot's square peg broke off and is stuck in the top of the troll's head, while a very small part of the left boot's peg has likewise broken off. The right boot will have to be glued into place to provide a secure base for the figure, while the left can still be plugged in to the hole on the base of the troll's head / upper neck as intended. * The Legolas figure was never placed on the diorama base. We are not factoring in the Luxury Edition's extra added base to the price of the item...only the added shipping cost. If you do not want the base and prefer us to ship only the figure in order to save money, just send us a message and we can either adjust the listing or refund the difference. * Body is over 11 inches (28 cm) tall with over 32 points of articulation. Includes a total of ten inter-changeable hands (one left / right pair with relaxed-posture, one pair of medium / loose grip hands, one pair of tighter weapon-holding grips, one pair of clenched fists, and two additional right hands with one drawing one arrow and the arrow drawing two). 2 extra replacement wrist joint pegs are also included. Clothing includes: light silver long sleeved under tunic, long tight-fitting black pants, green and brown outer tunic with fine stitched patterned details, sculpted leather forearm bracers, a pair of two-part sculpted boots, and a belt and harness which Legolas's sculpted quiver and knife are attached to. Also included is an optional Lothlorien Elven Hooded Cloak with Leaf Clasp / Brooch with a slit in the back so the quiver and sheathes can stick out while Legolas is wearing it. Weapons: The Galadhrim Bow gifted to Legolas in Lothlorien, two Curved Daggers with die cast blades, two separate Dagger Hilts for plugging into the sheaths (as the Daggers themselves will not fit), and six Arrows. 1 Asmus Toys base and stand is included, as is the instruction sheet. Figure has been carefully repackaged as have any accessories which were removed from the box. The art box for the figure is likewise in very good conditions.The top portion of the styrofoam which secured the troll's head base has crumbled and fallen apart, so if you opt to have us ship the complete set we will use bubble wrap to secure it and the boots to prevent further damage.
