Description: For sale is an antique hand painted floral daisy patterned, Wavecrest Biscuit Jar. Jar has a J T & Co of Sheffield, England silverplate lid and the swing handle is silverplate as well. Stands 6 3/4" to the top of the handle and is 6 5/8" wide. Weighs 2 1/2 lbs. It is in very good shape - no chips or cracks in the glass and the silverplate has only very, tiny, dents on the rim edge. Some small use scratches / rough spots on the inside. Silverplate needs to be polished. It is a nice display piece.
