Description: A gorgeous large panel of textured barkcloth cotton, circa 1930s/40s. Beautiful peony flowers with ribbons in a raspberry red, pink, green & mustard yellow on a natural tone ground. It has a marvelous texture. Denser, softer body. A long curtain with a seam at the top & hemmed at the bottom. A very attractive textile I’ve had in my personal collection for many years. Condition is overall very good. There is one small, about pea size fiber break and a couple of softer spots which get lost in the design. It has been hand laundered. ***Measures~ 35” wide by 99” long. Excellent on a window or even a day bed or bed hanging piece. Good for all the fabric as well as there’s quite a bit to work with. ~****** I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused. I will give you my best assessment. I do not always launder them nor do I know all their history, how they have been stored over time etc..
