Description: ANTIQUE VICTORIAN, 19th CENTURY, very intricately CARVED CORAL CAMEO with faux DIAMOND CRYSTAL; the diamond isn't tested; I can't confirm if that's a real diamond or not. Hallmarked "STERLING" on the back of the brooch. The coral color makes me think that this is old Victorian Sicilian coral, made in Italy. Italian jewelry was extremely popular in Great Britain and USA in the 19th century, as many affluent people bought jewelry as souvenirs from Italian Grand Tour.This antique brooch is in excellent condition. It has a very sophisticated, rich & elegant appearance! Purchased out of a highly affluent Estate in Westchester County, NY. Please take all measurements off the pictures provided.
