Description: 12 Antique Victorian Celluloid Hair Pins with their original paper/cardboard packaging The paper/cardboard they are attached to is very brittle from age and has some tears, bends, creases, age discoloration, aged dust. Not all the hair pins still attach to the cardboard as there are tears where they would have connected. I find no chips or cracks on hair pins but they do have some aged dust/dirt and could use a proper cleaning. This was folded in half when we purchased it so there is a crease in it (photo 15). I will ship it flat but again it's brittle paper so it might tear in half at any point. There is a Card Pat Serial Number 1215402 which I believe dates between 1915-1920.We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item. We are not antique dealers, collectors or experts. We describe the item along with any flaws and markings we can find the best we can. We will combine shipping whenever possible and ask that payment be made within 4 days. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us prior to opening a claim with eBay and we will be happy to work with you. Thanks for looking!
