This collector's piece features a rich green-felted wooden base and a substantial border, with masterfully engraved English wildlife amidst intricate foliage. The design showcases finely detailed depictions of (we think!) a fox, quail, partridge, rabbit, weasel, and stoat—bringing together the art of traditional silversmithing with a touch of the wild. Size: Largest exterior diameter 5" (13 cm), internal diameter of 4 3/4" (12 cm) and 2" (5cm) tall. Condition: In excellent lightly used condition. So: no splits, light wear to the varnish but no heavy marks to the wood. Silver is in fine polished and clean condition with no monograms or repairs. Please see images above.
