Description: For sale is a antique Stanley straight claw hammer, weighing 1lb.6 oz. overall, with handle. Signed "Stanley SW 16 oz. U.S.A." on the front side, and "No. 25-16 oz Size 1-1/2" on the back side, ", it has a 5-1/8" octagonal head, with a 1" diameter face, and a 1-3/16" wide straight claw. It is in very good overall condition, showing normal use and wear, with some more excessive wear on the front side, as pictured, with no personal makings from previous owners. The 13" nicely contoured wood handle is sound, but with a very slight "wobble", quite possibly just from drying out over the years.{??} Beautiful overall example and rather tough to find in any condition.
