Description: Antique needle case The Army and Navy Needle Book featuring the USS Iowa BB-4 and the Eagle with the Olive Branch and arrows in it's claws representing the US Army. The USS Iowa was launched in 1897 and served as a training ship for midshipmen and naval militia. It was decommissioned in 1914 and recommissioned in 1917 for WWI. The Needle book was made in Germany before the war. It is in very good condition and is almost complete. The book comes with a needle threader and an empty seam ripper case, which most likely was a single edge razor blade. Please refer to the photos for condition and descriptions
