Description: Very LARGE Antique Pink Thomas Webb / Mt Washington Mother-of-Pearl Diamond Quilted Satin Glass Vase This antique Victorian period, cased satin glass vase is Pink in color in the Mother of Pearl (MOP) diamond quilted pattern. This vase is 10 3/4" tall and 6" at its widest point in the middle. The top is 4 3/8" square. The bottom is 3 1/4" and shows a ground and polished pontil. An antique marker. The quilted MOP design has vibrant darker pink shading at the top graduating down the vase in the pink color to an almost white color at the bottom. The interior is white. It is round at the bottom with a squared top, very unusual. It was made by Thomas Webb, Stourbridge, England or MT. Washington Glass, New Bedford, Massachusetts. It does have a mark on one side and the first layer of glass burst as pictured in the images here. This is a beautiful piece that will be beautiful in your Victorian collection or as a stand alone on a table. You will love.
