Description: This is a beautifully hand carved genuine shell cameo brooch mounted in an .900 silver frame. The winged figure depicted is the Goddess Fortuna the Roman God of fortune and prosperity. She brings with her a cornucopia or horn of plenty - a centuries old symbol of abundance. The setting has a retractible loop on the back allowing you to add a chain and convert the brooch to a pendant for added versatility. The frame is encircled with a twisty gold plated silver wire adding a bit of color and detail. It is marked 900 on the reverse attesting to its Italian origins and is in excellent condition. This art nouveau treasure is from the early 1900s and is in great condition given its age. Slight crack on the back but not visible on the front. See pictures. Fast shipping 📦ðŸš
